Hunter Earns Third in 100 Freestyle in Bethel Quadrangular
Anderson University women’s swimming and diving sophomore Lily Hunter (Westfield, Ind./Westfield) earned third place in the 100-yard with a time of 56.68 seconds during Saturday’s quadrangular hosted by Bethel University (Ind.) in Elkhart.

The Westfield native also took fourth (25.54) in the 50 freestyle.
Anderson (1-3) fell in its three duals on Saturday. Indiana Wesleyan University (7-2) put together a 207-53 victory, NCAA Division II's Hillsdale college (4-0) earned a 187-64 win and Bethel University (Ind.) (3-7) took a 160-93 victory. In the latest National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) poll, Indiana Wesleyan is ranked third and Bethel is tied for seventh.
Heather Karm (Lowell, Ind./Lowell) clocked times of 26.58 seconds in the 50 freestyle and 1 minute, 12.3 seconds in the 100 breaststroke.
Kaitlyn Hopp (Downers Grove, Ill./Downers Grove South) closed out the 1,650 freestyle in sixth (19:44.11).
Lillia Mitchell (Crawfordsville, Ind./North Montgomery) secured seventh (5:16.95) in the 400 individual medley.
Tess Maubach (Bloomington, Ill./Bloomington) took seventh (1:05.39) in the 100 butterfly while Tori Haessig (Sunman, Ind./Milan) came in 0.03 seconds behind Maubach in eighth (1:05.42).
Noelle Parks (Lebanon, Ind./Lebanon) took ninth (2:37.85) in the 200 backstroke while Erin Aliff (New Ross, Ind./Western Boone) placed 10th (2:42.92) in the 200 backstroke.
Anderson hosts Manchester University (0-2) on Saturday at 2 p.m. in Bennett Natatorium.
