Hunter, Strege Capture Event Wins against Franklin

Franklin College (5-1, 4-0) topped Anderson (1-3, 1-2) by a score of 152-53.
Strege locked up first place in the 11-dive 1-meter diving event with a score of 395.60 points and an average of 35.96 points per dive. The senior from McCordsville hit the 11-Dive 1-Meter Diving NCAA 'B' Qualifying Standard of 395 points. Strege qualifies for the NCAA Diving Regional if achieves a score of at least 395 a second time this season.
Hunter charged to first in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 57.21 seconds.
"The Ravens fought hard against the Grizzlies," Coach Emma Furnish said. "It was a fun Saturday meet! We have one more home meet and winter training will begin."
Anderson takes on Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (1-4, 0-0) in an HCAC dual on Friday at 6 p.m. in Bennett Natatorium.
