Anderson Closes Out HCAC Championships in Fourth, Set Five School Records

The Anderson University women's swimming and diving team closed out the three-day Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Championships in fourth place, which concluded on Saturday at Vigo County School Corporation Aquatic Center in Terre Haute.

Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology scored 440 points to take third, holding off the Ravens, who finished with 414.5 points. Anderson's score of 414.5 points breaks the program record for most points scored in a conference meet.

After our three-day-long HCAC Championships, we achieved a total of 13 NEW SCHOOL RECORDS and at least 65 personal bests! To say I am proud of this team would be a huge understatement. I asked them to step up to the challenge and they surpassed my expectations. Being their coach this year has been a complete honor. I am so excited about the future of our program.
