Pioneers Secure Win against Ravens

The Pioneers moved to 2-4 on the season while the Ravens fell to 2-4.
Tess Maubach (Bloomington, Ill./Bloomington) captured first place in the 100-yard backstroke with a personal-record (PR) time of 1 minute, 6.02 seconds. The junior from Bloomington, Ill. locked up first in the 100 butterfly with a season PR of 1:04.75.
Kaitlyn Hopp (Downers Grove, Ill./Downers Grove South) locked up first in the 1,000 freestyle with a season PR of 11:38.72. The junior from Downers Grove, Ill. clocked a season-PR of 5:37.31 in the 500 freestyle.
Lily Hunter (Westfield, Ind./Westfield) raced to first (25.91) in the 50 freestyle.
Lillia Mitchell (Crawfordsville, Ind./North Montgomery) claimed first (2:25.29) in the 200 individual medley.
Tori Haessig (Sunman, Ind./Milan) earned first (2:28.37) in the 200 butterfly.
Anderson put together a 200 medley relay of Mitchell, Heather Karm (Lowell, Ind./Lowell), Maubach and Hunter, which put together a season PR of 1:58.19. The Ravens also fielded a 200 freestyle relay of Karm, Mitchell, Maubach and Hunter, which clocked a season PR of 1:46.54.
Anderson returns to action in the three-day Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Championships, which begins on March 5 at 10 a.m. in Terre Haute.
