The Anderson University women's swimming and diving team secured ninth place in the Dan Ross Indiana Intercollegiates on Saturday in West Lafayette.
"[Saturday]'s meet was to honor Purdue's swimming and diving head coach Dan Ross and his 40+ years of experience poured into that program and the swim community," Coach Emma Furnish said. "It was such a blast! Our athletes had the opportunity to compete in some very fast water against some very talented athletes. It is truly a joy to watch these athletes work their hardest in and out of the water. I hope my athletes realize what a great opportunity this meet is. I am excited for what is to come for AU Swimming & Diving."
Heather Karm put together a season best in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1 minute, 13.59 seconds. Maddie Hopp also turned in a season best in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:57.00.
