Anderson Rolls Past Hanover/Bluffton

The Anderson University women's swimming and diving team rolled past Hanover College and Bluffton University during Saturday's Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) double dual in Bennett Natatorium.

Anderson (2-1, 2-1) took down Hanover (1-2, 1-2) by a score of 136-44. The Ravens also cruised past Bluffton (0-6, 0-4) by a score of 157-32.

Halle Strege (McCordsville, Ind. / Mount Vernon) took first place in the 11-dive 1-meter diving event with a school-record score of 421.65 points and an average of 38.33 points per dive. The junior from McCordsville hit an NCAA Division III 'B' qualifying standard with her score. Strege punches her ticket to the NCAA Division III Diving Regionals if she hits the standard a second time this season.
