Hunter, Strege Sweep HCAC Athlete-of-the-Week Awards
Anderson University women’s swimming and diving standouts Lily Hunter (Westfield, Ind. / Westfield) and Halle Strege (McCordsville, Ind. / Mount Vernon) swept the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Athlete-of-the-Week awards, which was announced on Tuesday.

Hunter was tabbed as HCAC Swimmer of the Week for the second time in her career while Strege was selected as the HCAC Diver of the Week for the fourth time in her career.
Strege posted a 6-dive 1-meter diving score of 212.85 points during Saturday's Indiana Intercollegiates in Lafayette. The junior from McCordsville recorded an average of 35.48 points per dive.
Hunter raced to a time of 25.47 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle. The junior from Westfield also competed on two Anderson relays. The Ravens fielded a 200 freestyle relay 'A' team of Tori Haessig (Sunman, Ind. / Milan), Hunter, Heather Karm (Lowell, Ind. / Lowell) and Kaitlyn Hopp (Downers Grove, Ill. / Downers Grove South), which clocked a time of 1 minute, 50.69 seconds. Anderson also put together a 200 medley relay 'A' team of Ashley Daulton (Bateville, Ind. / Batesville), Karm, Brooklyn DenOuden (Lake Orion, Mich. / Lake Orion) and Hunter, which turned in a time of 2:03.81.
Anderson battles in the Indiana D-III Invitational on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Vigo County School Corporation Aquatic Center in Terre Haute.
