Heidelberg Earns Win against Ravens
Heidelberg University earned a 23-3 win against the Anderson University men’s lacrosse team on Saturday in Tiffin, Ohio.

Tristan Wilbrandt netted two goals for the Ravens (0-2) while Michael Ertel contributed his first career goal. Johnathan Havener dished out an assist.
Wilbrandt led the Ravens with five shots on goal. Ertel registered three shots on goal. Cole Whatley provided two shots on goal while Havener and Gage Jones each added shots on goal.
Heidelberg cleared 21-of-23 (91.3 percent) attempts while Anderson finished 18-of-34 (52.9 percent) clears.
"We did a better job of clearing the ball and had a few more offensive possessions to show for it," Coach Jacob Ashton said. "We are still struggling to find our groove offensively, but we had some bright moments with Tristan scoring two goals and Michael finding his first score of the year."
Eric Fisher saved 18 of the 41 shots he faced. He also racked up eight ground balls.
"I'm really proud of the growth that Eric has shown this season. He made some big time saves and showed a ton of leadership on the defensive end."
Colt Comiskey caused three turnovers for the Ravens. Josh Ekberg totaled two ground balls and a caused turnover.
"Colt showed a lot of leadership on defense and Josh continues to improve in the middle on the field."
Alex Warren won eight faceoffs and picked up six ground balls. Landre Stemick tallied five ground balls and two caused turnovers. Wilbrandt also recorded three ground balls.
The Ravens are set for two matches next week. Anderson battles Wabash College (0-1) on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at Macholtz Stadium. The Ravens then clash with Wilmington College (0-0) on Saturday at 1 p.m. in Wilmington, Ohio.
