Wabash College earned a 21-7 victory against the Anderson University men's lacrosse team on Wednesday in Crawfordsville.
Wabash (4-1) cleared 18-of-19 (94.7 percent) attempts while Anderson finished 21-of-29 (72.4 percent) clears.
Johnathan Havener (Kettering, Ohio/Kettering Fairmount) led the Ravens with three goals. Josh Rhodes (Vienna, Va./James Madison) and Cole Whatley (Green Bay, Wis./Notre Dame Academy) provided two goals apiece.
Whatley won five faceoffs for the Ravens. Bryce Johnson (Greenfield, Ind./Cathedral) paced the Ravens with six ground balls. Michael Ertel (Morrow, Ohio/Little Miami), Whatley, Josh Ekberg (Mahomet, Ill./Mahomet-Seymour) and Rhodes each recorded three ground balls. Seth Yunker (Dayton, Ohio/Dayton Christian), Johnson and Mason Bratcher (Louisville, Ky./Louisville Male) caused two turnovers apiece. Ertel contributed six saves.
Anderson takes on Mount St. Joseph University (2-2) in non-conference action next Wednesday at 5 p.m. in Cincinnati, Ohio.
