Ravens Downed by Barons

The Anderson University men's lacrosse team (2-5) fell to Franciscan University (6-2) by a score of 22-2 on Saturday in Steubenville, Ohio. Spencer Pruden had another strong game, saving 19 shots (Tied for the 6th Most in Program History).

COACH JACOB ASHTON'S COMMENTS

• Franciscan had some firepower and we struggled to contain their offense.
• Abram Zimmerman showed much improvement at the faceoff X as he has taken on a bigger role these last two games.
• Dallas Hermanson continues to show his growth and abilities as a freshman on defense.
• Offensively, we improved in the shooting category, but struggled to put points on the board.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• This was the second All-Time meeting between Anderson and Franciscan. The Ravens won the first game 21-11
• Franciscan cleared 29-of-34 (85.2 percent), while Anderson was successful on 23-of-31 (74.1 percent) clears.
• The Barons won 18-of-27 (66.7 percent) of faceoffs
• Franciscan outshot Anderson 61-28
