Cole Whatley broke an 8-8 tie by finding the back of the net with 1 minute, 38 seconds remaining. The senior from Green Bay, Wis. closed the match with four goals and an assist. Freshman Timothy Jackson made his debut start in goal and saved 13-of-21 (61.9 percent) shots.

This was a great all-around team win. It was a great way to respond after a tough loss. I'm proud of our determination and resiliency. We have a quick turnaround back at home against Franciscan on Saturday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Clayton Emery put the Ravens on the board with 10:55 left in the first quarter. Anderson carried a 1-0 lead through the first.
- The Ravens entered halftime with a 3-1 lead.
- After the Ravens took a 4-1 lead in the third, Washington & Jefferson scored three consecutive goals to tie the game at 4-4 with 7:15 left in the third quarter.
- Emery and Jacob Glowner provided goals to give Anderson a 6-4 lead through three quarters.
- The Presidents added a goal early in the fourth. Whatley then netted a goal to out Anderson ahead 7-5 with 13:02 to go.
- Washington & Jefferson continued to chip away. Aidan Herman evened the score at 7-7 with 7:27 to go.
- Carter Watts scored his third goal of the day to give the Presidents an 8-7 lead with 3:12 to go.
- Kenny Bentley contributed a critical goal to tie the game back at 8-8 with 2:26 to go.
- Robert Okougbo found Cole Whatley and Whatley found the back of the net for the go-ahead goal with 1:38 remaining.
- After the Presidents won the faceoff, Timothy Jackson came up with a save with 1:02 to go. Washington & Jefferson got the ball back, but turned it over with 27 seconds remaining, sealing the match for the Ravens.
