The Anderson University men's lacrosse team fell to Transylvania University by a score of 23-3 in its regular-season finale during Saturday's Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference (HCLC) matchup in Lexington, Ky.
Transylvania (11-2, 4-0) cleared 10-of-13 (76.9 percent) attempts while Anderson (3-7, 2-2) finished 8-of-23 (34.8 percent) clears.
Josh Rhodes (Vienna, Va./James Madison) led the Ravens with a goal and an assist. Johnathan Havener (Kettering, Ohio/Kettering Fairmount) and Jacob Glowner (New Palestine, Ind./Roncalli) each netted goals while Landon Lawrence (Westfield, Ind./Westfield) dished out an assist.
Eric Fisher (Indianapolis, Ind./Southport) saved 10 of the 33 shots he faced. Mason Bratcher (Louisville, Ky./Louisville Male) picked up five ground balls while Josh Ekberg (Mahomet, Ill./Mahomet-Seymour) and Fisher collected three ground balls apiece.
The Ravens earned the No. 3 seed in the HCLC Tournament. They will face off with second-seeded Hanover College (7-4, 3-1) at a date and time yet to be determined.
