Jeff Howard - 2018 Athlete

Jeff Howard starred for the men's basketball team from 1981-86. He was named an NCCAA (National Christian College Athletic Association) All-American for the 1985-86 season and was an all-district, all-conference performer and team MVP from 1984 to 1986. He was the Ravens' captain for the 1985-86 season, during that season he was voted the District 21 NAIA Player of the Week.

He ranks No. 6 on the school's all-time scoring list with 1,615 points. He scored 635 points, tied for fourth most in a season, during the 1985-86 campaign, averaging 21.2 points for the season. Howard returned to AU to complete his degree in 2008.
