The 1981 Volleyball Team captured the Indiana Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women state tournament title. Entering the postseason with a 20-11 overall record and a 4-1 conference record, the Ravens secured four wins in a row to win the state tournament. Anderson earned wins against Hanover College and St. Mary's College (Ind.) before locking up consecutive wins against Purdue College. The Ravens won a match at the regional tournament, before finishing the season 25-13. Jackie Determan and Lori Ball each earned all-state honorable mention. Ball was selected to the state all-tournament team while Linda Beck was named the team's MVP. Determan, Ball and Coach Becky Hull are current members of the Anderson Athletics Hall of Fame.
