Hayward Tallies Sixth Consecutive HCAC Diver-of-the-Week Award
Anderson University men’s swimming and diving senior Matthew Hayward tallied his sixth consecutive Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Diver-of-the-Week award, which was announced by the conference on Monday.

Hayward has been named HCAC Diver of the Week six times this season and 15 times in his career.
Anderson (5-1) fell to Bethel University (Ind.) (5-2) by a score of 165-109 last Saturday at Elkhart Aquatic Center in Elkhart. Hayward captured first place in the 6-dive 1-meter diving event with a total score of 246.60 points and an average of 41.10 points per dive. The senior from Fort Wayne took second in the 6-dive 3-meter diving event with a school-record total score of 228.35 points and an average of 38.06 points per dive.
The Ravens, which are 3-0 in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) action, face off with Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (2-1, 0-0) in an HCAC dual on Friday at 6 p.m. in the Rose-Hulman Natatorium in Terre Haute.
