Ravens Win Six Events in Dual with Pilots

Bethel (3-3) topped the Ravens (1-1) in a 138-109 decision. The Pilots entered the meet ranked No. 10 in the latest National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) poll.
Matthew Hayward (Fort Wayne, Ind./Concordia Lutheran) claimed first place in 1-meter diving after establishing an 11-dive school record score of 477.00 points. The freshman from Fort Wayne put together an average of 43.36 points per dive.
Evan Kropf (Fort Wayne, Ind./Concordia Lutheran) captured first in the 100-yard freestyle with a personal-record time of 48.41 seconds. The junior from Fort Wayne locked up first in the 50 freestyle with a personal-record time of 21.86 seconds.
Noah Scheffer (Lambertville, Mich./Bedford) raced to first (53.21) in the 100 freestyle and second (22.07) in the 50 freestyle.
Bryce Holt (Osceola, Ind./Penn) claimed first (56.92) in the 100 backstroke. He also recorded a 200 backstroke time of 2:08.82.
Anderson took first in both of the relay events. Holt, Josh Ekberg (Mahomet, Ill./Mahomet-Seymour), Scheffer and Kropf clocked a time of 3 minutes, 39.16 seconds in the 400 medley relay. Kris Keller (Fishers, Ind./Northridge), Ekberg, Scheffer and Kropf turned in a time of 3:20.89 in the 400 freestyle relay.
The Ravens welcome Manchester University (0-2) on Saturday at 2 p.m. in Bennett Natatorium.
