Anderson University men's swimming and diving senior Matthew Hayward finished 23rd place in the 3-meter diving event during the NCAA D-III Swimming & Diving Championships on Wednesday in Greensboro, N.C.
The senior from Fort Wayne recorded an 11-dive score of 401.20 points and an average of 36.47 points per dive.
Hayward continues in the national meet with the 1-meter diving event on Friday at 6 p.m.
