Anderson University men's diving junior Matthew Hayward secured 14th place in the 1-meter diving event of the NCAA D-III Central Diving Regional on Friday in Chicago.
The Fort Wayne native recorded an 11-dive score of 413.70 points and an average of 37.61 points per dive.
Hayward competes in the 3-meter diving event in Day 2 of the diving regionals on Saturday at 5:05 p.m. ET.
