Ravens Take Ninth in Indiana Intercollegiates
The Anderson University men’s swimming and diving team took ninth place during Saturday’s Indiana Intercollegiates in Lafayette.

"Both teams strived for success and came out on top of our circumstances," Coach Emma Maubach said. "I am so proud of their efforts! Now that the first official meet is under our belts, it's go time!"
Matthew Hayward (Fort Wayne, Ind. / Concordia Lutheran) put together a 6-dive 1-meter diving score of 248.20 points, which averages 41.37 points per dive.
Ben Hall (New Castle, Ind. / New Castle) clocked a 100-yard freestyle time of 52.13 seconds.
Anderson fielded a 200 freestyle relay team of Devin Goodrich (Anderson, Ind. / Anderson), Cameron Stanley (Lizton, Ind. / Tri-West), Evan Kropf (Fort Wayne, Ind. / Concordia Lutheran) and Noah Scheffer (Lambertville, Mich. / Bedford), which raced to a time of 1 minute, 36.46 seconds. The Ravens also put together a 200 medley relay team of Anthony Stultz (New Palestine, Ind. / New Palestine), David Lange (Milaca, Minn. / Princeton), Scheffer and Hall, which contributed a time of 1:49.97.
The Ravens battle in the Indiana D-III Invitational on Saturday at 1 p.m. in Terre Haute at the Vigo County School Corporation Aquatic Center.
