Four Ravens Earn Second-Team All-HCLC Recognition

Mason Bratcher (Louisville, Ky./Louisville Male), Bryce Johnson (Greenfield, Ind./Cathedral), Logan Lawrence (Westfield, Ind./Westfield) and Josh Rhodes (Vienna, Va./James Madison) each received second-team all-conference honors, which is also the first all-conference selection for each player.
Bratcher caused 33 turnovers and picked up 44 ground balls on defense. The freshman defender from Louisville, Ky. created 13 turnovers and collected 19 ground balls in four conference matches. Bratcher averaged three caused turnovers per match, which ranked first in the conference and 21st in the nation.
Rhodes notched 24 goals, 16 assists, 40 points and 29 ground balls on the season. The freshman attack from Vienna, Va. recorded nine goals, six assists, 15 points and 11 ground balls in four matches. Among HCLC leaders, Rhodes ranks second in assists per match (1.45) and third in points per match (3.64).
Lawrence produced seven goals, 11 assists, 18 points, 22 ground balls and six caused turnovers. The junior attack from Westfield contributed five goals, five assists, 10 points, 11 ground balls and six caused turnovers in three conference matches. Lawrence averaged 1.38 assists per match, which ranked third in the conference.
Johnson tallied 51 ground balls, 18 caused turnovers and a goal on the season. The freshman defender from Greenfield produced 23 ground balls and six caused turnovers in four conference matches. Johnson collected 4.64 ground balls per match, which ranked eighth in the HCLC.
Anderson finished 3-8 with a 2-2 conference record during the 2021 season. The Ravens set program records for wins, conference wins and conference place as Anderson took third in the HCLC. Anderson also set two more season records, scoring 9.09 goals per match and holding opponents to 12.45 goals per match. The Ravens produced a single-game school record of 19 goals against Mount St. Joseph on April 17. Anderson also held Earlham College to a single-game school record two goals on April 7.
