Anderson University men's swimming and diving junior Matthew Hayward garnered a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Diver-of-the-Week selection, which was announced by the conference on Monday.
Hayward was named HCAC Diver of the Week for the second time this season and the eighth time in his career.
The Ravens (3-1, 2-1) fell to the Grizzlies (5-0-1, 4-0) by a score of 159-47 during Saturday's HCAC dual in the Bennett Natatorium.
Hayward claimed first in the 1-meter diving event. The junior from Fort Wayne posted an 11-dive score of 397.70 points and an average of 36.15 points per dive.
Anderson challenges Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (4-2, 0-0) in an HCAC dual on Friday at 6 p.m. in the Bennett Natatorium.
