Haney Garners HCAC Swimmer-of-the-Week Award

Anderson University men's swimming and diving junior Reid Haney garnered the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Swimmer-of-the-Week award, which was announced by the conference on Wednesday.

Haney broke four school records during the three-day Gail Pebworth Invitational, which concluded last Sunday in Crawfordsville. The junior from Goshen has earned been named HCAC Swimmer of the Week twice this season and four times in his career.

• 1,650 Freestyle – 16:40.74 – 2nd Place – School Record
• 1,000 Freestyle (Extracted) – 10:04.67 – School Record
• 500 Freestyle Finals – 4:44.94 – 4th Place – School Record
• 200 Freestyle Prelims – 1:45.69 – 6th Place – School Record
• 500 Freestyle Prelims – 4:45.17 – 4th Place – Improved Previous School Record
• 200 Freestyle Finals – 1:46.68 – Improved Previous Personal Record
