Bio

Coach Barnes' primary responsibilities include heading up base-running instruction, and assisting with coaching our infielders and outfielders. Coach Barnes also oversees our student-athletes summer baseball placement. 

He graduated from Twin Lakes High School in Monticello, Ind., in 2008 and attended Kishwaukee College in Malta, Ill., from 2008-10. As a sophomore at Kishwaukee, Barnes helped the team win the Division I NJCAA Region 4 Baseball championship, eventually being eliminated by national champion Iowa Western.

At Kishwaukee, he was named Arrowhead Academic All-Conference. He then transferred to Coker College in Hartsville, S.C., where he played from 2010-2012. He was a member of the Spring Presidential Honor Roll and graduated from Coker in 2012 with a B.A. in History.

Barnes currently lives in Indianapolis and works at Hensley Legal Group.
