Knight compiled averages of 29.0 points and 11.5 rebounds last week as the Ravens (5-5, 2-1) finished 2-0.
The Ravens crushed Defiance College (7-2, 2-1) in a 90-62 HCAC victory on Wednesday. Knight racked up 24 points and 19 rebounds. The junior from Frankton blasted his previous career high of 11 rebounds. Knight also blocked two shots.
Anderson then battled past Olivet College with an 88-81 win on Saturday. Knight poured in a career-high 34 points. The scoring performances for Knight this week are the two highest in his career.
Knight is currently at the top of the conference in points per game (21.0), rebounds per game (8.6) and blocks per game (1.8). As a team, Anderson leads the conference in points per game (78.6), blocks per game (4.4) and 3-point field-goal defense (31.1 percent). The Ravens also rank 13th in the nation in fewest turnovers per game (10.5).
Anderson, Defiance, Hanover College (6-2, 2-1), Transylvania University (6-3, 2-1) and Franklin College (6-4, 2-1) are each tied for first in the HCAC standings. The Ravens return to action on Jan. 4 in an HCAC matchup with Earlham College (5-5, 1-2) at 3 p.m. in Richmond.
