HOW IT HAPPENED
- The first half went back and forth, ending with the score knotted at 39.
- Transylvania went on an 8-1 run and held the lead till there were two minutes left in regulation.
- The late push began with two minutes remaining when Axel Laby found Tate Ivanyo for his sixth three of the game, making the score 71-73.
- Transylvania's Drew Marshall responded with a two to get their lead back to four.
- Rob Davidson drew a foul driving the basket and made both free throws to bring it 73-75
- After a Pioneer miss, Kenney Troutman drew a foul and made the second free throw, bringing the Ravens to within one.
- Transylvania inbounded the ball, and Kenney Troutman stole it and made an easy lay-up to give the Ravens the lead with 21 seconds left.
- The Pioneers got off a corner 3-point attempt with three seconds left, which fell short.

- Anderson converted 28-of-63 (44.4 percent) shots from the floor, while Transylvania connected on 28-of-65 (43.1 percent) attempts.

COACH CARTER COLLINS'S COMMENTS
I sure didn't feel like we played our best basketball [on Saturday] - we continue to get off to slow starts, and our offense was out of sorts all night. But I have to give it up to the guys and their never-say-die attitude - we were able to make one final push in the last three minutes, and it just barely got us over the hump. You need some of those in a 25-game regular season, and we got one tonight.
