Ravens Roll Past Fightin’ Engineers

The Anderson University men's basketball team (8-3, 3-1) rolled past Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (3-8, 1-3) by a score of 75-61 during Saturday's Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) matchup in Terre Haute.

COACH CARTER COLLINS'S COMMENTS

I thought [Saturday] was a really solid performance by us. Winning at Rose-Hulman is never easy, but we executed our defensive game-plan well, and did a good job of working together to find good looks on the offensive end. We now continue our massively important stretch of games against conference foes with a home game against Hanover on Wednesday.

Transylvania University (9-1, 4-0) and Hanover College (8-3, 4-0) each share the lead in the HCAC standings. Anderson and Manchester University (5-2, 3-1) are both tied for third place.

Anderson's next three contests all hold major significance in the fight for the HCAC lead. The Ravens clash with Hanover on Wednesday, Jan. 3 at 7 p.m. in O.C. Lewis Gymnasium. Anderson goes head-to-head with Transylvania on Saturday, Jan. 6 at 4 p.m. in Lexington, Ky. The Ravens then face off with Manchester on Wednesday, Jan. 10 at 7:30 p.m. in North Manchester.
