COACH CARTER COLLINS'S COMMENTS
- Winning on the road against good teams requires two things - effort, and execution. You need both to win. I thought we had effort, but not execution. We made too many mistakes to be able to reasonably expect to win. Carthage is a very good team that challenges you in a lot of different ways, and too often we didn't have the focus necessary to deal with them.
- Overall, not a bad start for us at 3-1 with all four games on the road against very good teams. We still need to keep improving, but we're in a good place right now. We're very much looking forward to getting on the court in O.C. Lewis in front of our home crowd when we get back from break.
