Ravens Fall to (RV) Thunder

The Anderson University men's basketball team (2-5) fell to Trine University (6-0) by a score of 68-53 on Wednesday in Angola.

Trine entered Wednesday's contest receiving votes in the latest D3hoops.com poll.

COACH CARTER COLLINS'S COMMENTS

I thought there were some aspects of our game that were very solid, but others that were simply not up to par. That's not a formula that's going to get it done on the road against a Trine team that's one of the best in the region. We've really been building towards conference play for the last couple weeks, and it's finally upon us - beginning this Saturday at home against Mount St. Joseph.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Ravens committed 17 turnovers while the Thunder turned the ball over 12 times. Trine outscored Anderson 19-11 off turnovers.
• Trine converted 7-of-18 (38.9 percent) shots from 3-point range while Anderson made 3-of-18 (16.7 percent) attempts from the perimeter.
• The Thunder outrebounded the Ravens 40-33.
