Knight is the only player is the HCAC this season to have been named conference player of the week three times. He averaged 25 points for the week while draining 15-of-25 (60 percent) shots from the field and 5-of-8 (62.5 percent) attempts from 3-point range.
Anderson (13-12, 10-8) won both games in the final week of the season to lock up a No. 5 seed in the HCAC Tournament. The Ravens drained 32-of-51 (62.7 percent) shots from the field as they claimed a 94-70 win against Manchester University (8-17, 6-12) in last Wednesday's HCAC matchup at O.C. Lewis Gymnasium. Anderson then outlasted Mount St. Joseph University (6-19, 4-14) with an 82-78 victory in last Saturday's HCAC matchup at O.C. Lewis Gymnasium.
Knight contributed 23 points against Manchester. The 6-foot-4 junior wing from Frankton drained 6-of-8 (75 percent) shots from the floor and 3-of-3 attempts from the perimeter. Knight then racked up 27 points against Mount St. Joseph. He currently leads the conference in points per game (19.6) and blocks per game (1.64).
The Ravens, who have won their last three games, battle fourth-seeded Bluffton University (15-10) in the Opening Round of the HCAC Tournament on Friday at 6 p.m. in Lexington, Ky.
