Ivanyo Receives Numerous National Accolades
Anderson University men’s basketball Tate Ivanyo has received numerous national accolades, which have all been announced within the last eight days.

Ivanyo garnered National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) First-Team All-American honors. The senior from Valparaiso was tabbed the NABC District 8 Player of the Year. Ivanyo became a consensus all-American by being named a D3hoops.com Fifth-Team All-American. This is the second year Ivanyo has earned NABC All-American honors and the first year he has received D3hoops.com All-American recognition.
Ivanyo was also selected as a Jostens Trophy Finalist. The Jostens Trophy honors - one for men's basketball and one for women's basketball - are national awards created by the Rotary Club of Salem and sponsored by Jostens, Inc., to recognize the most outstanding men's and women's Division III basketball players of the year. The awards focus on three major criteria: basketball ability, academic prowess, and service to one's surrounding communities. The Jostens Trophy models the Rotary International motto of "Service Above Self" by recognizing those who truly fit the ideal of a well-rounded Division III student-athlete.
Ivanyo was selected to the NABC NCAA D-III All-Star Game, which features 20 of the most prominent men's basketball seniors in NCAA D-III. He was also a consensus all-region selection for the third time in his career as well as being a consensus first-team all-region selection for the second time in his career.
