Alma College swept the Anderson University softball team during Saturday's doubleheader at the Raven Softball Field.
The Scots (5-3) powered to an 8-0 victory in five innings during Game 1. Alma then secured a 6-4 win in Game 2.
GAME 1: ALMA 8, ANDERSON 0 (F/5)
Taylor Johnson (Danville, Ind./Covenant Christian) contributed a double for the Ravens (0-2) while Ally Hall (Pendleton, Ind./Pendleton Heights) added a single.
GAME 2: ALMA 6, ANDERSON 4
Johnson finished 2-for-3 with a two-run single. Chloe Closser (Pendleton, Ind./Pendleton Heights) turned in an RBI single. Jayden Brown (Pendleton, Ind./Pendleton Heights), Faith Muterspaugh (Middletown, Ind./Shenandoah) and Mickala Winans (Anderson, Ind./Pendleton Heights) each tallied singles to round out Anderson's six hits.
