Mount St. Joseph University swept the Anderson University softball team during Sunday’s Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) doubleheader at the Raven Softball Field.

Mount St. Joseph University swept the Anderson University softball team during Sunday's Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) doubleheader at the Raven Softball Field.
The Lions (18-6, 4-0) topped the Ravens (7-13, 3-3) by a score 15-1 in five innings in Game 1. Mount St. Joseph then secured an 8-1 win in Game 2.
In Game 1, Kylie Coleman smashed her first career homer run. The Ravens also received singles from Maddie Schoenradt, Alayna Hart, Gracie Grimes and Aryonna Bynum.
Belle Blickenstaff went 2-for-3 with an RBI for the Ravens in Game 2. Grimes, Paycee Lewis and Bynum each provided singles for the Ravens.
Anderson faces off with Manchester University (12-8, 3-3) in an HCAC doubleheader on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. in North Manchester.
