The Anderson University softball team (2-6) fell in both games of Day 2 of the Pioneer Classic on Sunday at Elizabeth Sports Park in Elizabethtown, Ky.
Wartburg College (13-5) handed Anderson a 9-1 loss in five innings. Muskingum University (10-4), ranked No. 24 in the latest National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division III poll, then fought past Anderson 6-3.
