The Anderson University softball team (2-12, 0-4) fell to Transylvania University (15-6, 4-0) during Sunday's Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) doubleheader at the Raven Softball Field.
Transylvania secured an 11-1 victory in five innings in Game 1. The Pioneers then claimed a 17-1 win in five innings in Game 2. Transylvania entered Sunday ranked No. 21 in the latest National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) NCAA D-III poll.
