"Ariel Lee had a solid year for us, hitting .395 in conference play," Coach Tony Holloway said. "She became a true utility player for us this year playing five different positions throughout the year. After having knee surgery at the end of last season this is a very strong way to finish her career for us."
Buck finished 13-for-39 with four doubles, two home runs, eight RBI's, six walks and five runs. The freshman from Fortville posted a .333 batting average, a .422 on-base percentage and a .590 slugging percentage. Buck tied for sixth among HCLC leaders in conference play in both homers and walks.
During the regular season, Buck went 25-for-76 with seven doubles, three homers, 14 RBI's, 11 runs and 12 walks. Buck produced a .329 batting average, a .435 on-base percentage and a .539 slugging percentage.
"Molly hit .333 in conference with 4 doubles and 2 home runs. As a freshman she started out as our DP then moved to third base and also pitched for us. I feel she has just started figuring everything out and the best is yet to come."
