Anderson Charges Past Berea on Senior Day
The Anderson University baseball team (21-10, 11-3) charged past Berea College (7-22, 1-12) during Sunday’s Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) doubleheader at Don Brandon Field.

The Anderson University baseball team (21-10, 11-3) charged past Berea College (7-22, 1-12) during Sunday's Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) doubleheader at Don Brandon Field.
Anderson rolled past Berea to a 24-7 victory in seven innings in Game 1. The Ravens then routed the Mountaineers 19-0 in Game 2.
Prior to the game, the Ravens recognized Charlie Jones, Nate Kelly, Logan Nickel, Landen Southern, Justin Schassburger, Brendan Tabor and C.J. Williams for Senior Day.
In Game 1, Anderson was hit by a pitch eight times, setting a new single-game school record. Griffin Wolf, Tabor, Zac Stawski and Daniel Barreca each smashed home runs in Game 1. Tabor went 3-for-4 with four RBI. Wolf finished 2-for-3 with five RBI while Stawski went 2-for-4 with four RBI. Landon Brooks (2-2) earned the win.
In Game 2, Williams (2-2) captured the win, allowing just three hits and two walks in seven scoreless innings. He also struck out three batters. Tabor and Ben Seitzinger delivered homers. Seitzinger and Dylan Hogan went 3-for-4 with four RBI while Tabor finished 2-for-3 with six RBI.
Anderson currently leads the HCAC standings by two and a half games. The Ravens face off with Franklin College (14-15, 6-8) in an HCAC doubleheader on Saturday, April 19 in Franklin.
