Anderson Wraps Up Four-Game Series with Split with Alma
The Anderson University baseball team split with Alma College in the two teams’ second consecutive doubleheader on Saturday at Don Brandon Field.

The Anderson University baseball team split with Alma College in the two teams' second consecutive doubleheader on Saturday at Don Brandon Field.
Anderson (9-6) fended off Alma (6-7) by a score of 8-4 in Game 1. Alma then secured an 8-4 victory in six innings in Game 2. The Scots led the Ravens 5-4 through five innings in Game 2. In the top of the sixth, Alma plated three more runs to extend its lead to 8-4. Anderson's Trey Dorton received three pitches in the bottom of the sixth before the game entered a lightning delay. The game was eventually called due to lightning.
Brendan Tabor powered to three home runs during the doubleheader, finishing 4-for-6 with six RBI.
