During the 23rd minute, Caleb Gonser (Terre Haute, Ind. / Terre Haute South) came up with a steal. "I am really proud of our first half," Coach Scott Fridley said. "We were able to establish some rhythm and kept our shape reasonably well. Jordan's two goals were good to get him started and build some confidence for him."

Brayden Humbert (Brownsburg, Ind. / Brownsburg) set up Usman Kamara (Indianapolis, Ind. / Franklin Central) with a one-on-one situation, but his shot was just high. Art Hinton IV (Indianapolis, Ind. / Covenant Christian) also forced the keeper out of position as Stephen Fite (Cincinnati, Ohio / Homeschool) fired a shot on goal, but Greenville's defense came up with the save.

On the match, Danny Moro-Medina (Goshen, Ind. / Goshen) saved each of the five shots he faced.
"The second half, we had to fight a little and scrap to keep the shutout. I felt like we were in control until the last 15 minutes when we gave them some opportunities. I am proud of the boys getting their first shutout. Danny did a nice job in goal."
Bossman scored on both of his shots he took. Kamara provided three shots and one shot on goal. Gonser contributed three shots. Fite put his only shot on frame while Luke Burkle (Muncie, Ind. / Delta) and Murray each added a shot.
