The Fightin' Engineers (7-1-2, 3-0) entered Wednesday's contest ranked No. 8 in the latest United Soccer Coaches (USC) NCAA D-III Region VII poll.
During the ninth minute, Takezo Kelly put Rose-Hulman on the scoreboard with A.J. Yilmaz on the assist. Four minutes later, Kelly scored again with Elijah Hardersen and Jacob Pohl providing assists. During the 54th minute, Jackson Seida netted a goal with Caleb Urban and Owen Trudt dished out assists.
Regan Frost and Stephen Fite each contributed two shots for the Ravens (3-6-2, 0-3). Caleb Opoku, Sam Rowlison and Drew Vaughn each put their only shot on frame while Usman Kamara added a shot to round out Anderson's eight shots.
Dalton Sheltz saved six of the nine shots he faced. Jaxon Gillig also recorded a defensive save.
Rose-Hulman outshot Anderson 22-8 and held a 10-3 advantage in shots on goal.
Anderson battles Bluffton University (4-4-3, 2-1) in HCAC action on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in Bluffton, Ohio.
