Little Giants Earn Win against Ravens
The Anderson University men’s soccer traveled to Crawfordsville, Ind. on Tuesday to take on the Wabash College Little Giants. Wabash wasted no time getting on the scoreboard, and ultimately defeated the Ravens 5-0.

The Anderson University men's soccer traveled to Crawfordsville, Ind. on Tuesday to take on the Wabash College Little Giants. Wabash wasted no time getting on the scoreboard, and ultimately defeated the Ravens 5-0.
Just in the 2nd minute of play, the Little Giants (4-2) recorded their first goal of the game from Coledon Johnson. They immediately followed with a second in the 6th minute, once again from Johnson. The Ravens (2-4) would have their chances, but struggled in finding the back of the net. Wabash would go on to record two more goals from Ben Wallace and Jordan Donsky, before heading into halftime with a 4-0 lead over the Ravens.
The Ravens fought hard in the second half, holding a strong defense while trying to take any opportunity they could to get their offense going. The Little Giants kept control of the game though, and built on their score in the 75th minute from a goal by Yuma Ozaki. Ultimately, the Ravens couldn't break through, and fell 5-0.
Multiple Ravens contributed to the 13 shots taken, Matthew Murray (Indianapolis, Ind. / Pike), Jordan Bossman (Gahanna, Ohio / Westerville North), Brayden Humbert (Brownsburg, Ind. / Brownsburg), Art Hinton IV (Indianapolis, Ind. / Covenant Christian), and Usman Kamara (Indianapolis, Ind. / Franklin Central) each contributed two shots. Jordan Bossman and Usman Kamara recorded the three shots that were on goal.
Anderson will be back in action on Friday as they head to Albion, Mich. to take on the Britons of Albion College (1-1-1). Kickoff is scheduled for 7PM.
