Berea College fought past the Anderson University men's soccer team 1-0 during the Raven/Quaker Classic on Thursday at Fridley Field.
Stephen Fite led the Ravens (0-1) with three shots and one shot on goal. Brendan Hall, Josh Martinez and Sam Rowlison each recorded statlines of two shots and one shot on goal. Caleb Gonser, Usman Karama, R.J. Macomber and Drew Vaughn each put their only shot on frame. Caleb Opoku added a shot to round out Anderson's 15 shots.
Danny Moro-Medina saved four of the five shots he faced.
The Ravens outshot the Mountaineers by a 15-12 margin and held an 8-5 advantage in shots on goal.
Anderson battles Asbury University (0-1) to round out the Raven/Quaker Classic on Friday at 5 p.m. at Fridley Field.
