Anderson Clashes with Rose-Hulman in HCAC Semifinals
The fourth-seeded Anderson University men’s soccer team is set to clash with the top-seeded Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology during the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Tournament Semifinals on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Terre Haute.

HOW WE GOT HERE
- Rose-Hulman earned the No. 1 seed after finishing the regular season with a 10-4-3 overall record and an 8-0-1 conference record. The Fightin' Engineers won the regular-season title and earned a bye in the first round of the HCAC Tournament.
- In a must-win situation, Anderson punched its ticket to the HCAC Tournament by topping Berea College 2-0 in the regular-season finale. Anderson closed the regular season with a 3-3-3 HCAC record and 12 conference points. The Ravens tied Berea for fourth place in the conference standings and held the head-to-head tiebreaker.
- Fourth-seeded Anderson earned the right to host fifth-seeded Berea in the first round of the conference tournament. Anderson took down Berea 2-0 to advance to the next round. The Ravens currently hold a 7-7-4 overall record. Dalton Grubbs and Emmett Kindler each found the back of the net for the Ravens. Braydon Kennedy recorded a four-save shutout against Berea. As a team, Anderson pitched its seventh shutout of the season.
LAST TIME OUT
Rose-Hulman grinded out a 2-1 road victory against Anderson in the regular season. Eli Miller found the back of the net in the 39th minute for the Fightin' Engineers. Dalton Grubbs evened the score with a goal in the 50th minute. Rose-Hulman broke the 1-1 tie as Ryan Shapiro recorded a goal in the 68th minute.
