Blythe Young, Volleyball
Anderson University volleyball freshman Blythe Young has been named Raven Female Athlete of the Week for the week of 10/14-10/20.
Young led the conference with 10.86 assists per set as Anderson (14-5, 2-2) went 2-0 overall and 1-0 in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) action last week. The Avon native led the conference in assists per set for the fourth time this season. Young currently ranks 11th in the nation with 10.28 assists per set.

The Ravens host a triangular with Alma College (6-15) and Transylvania University (14-7, 4-0) on Saturday, Oct. 26 in O.C. Lewis Gymnasium. Anderson clashes with Transylvania in HCAC action at 1 p.m. Alma and Transylvania face off at 3 p.m. The Ravens then take on Alma in non-conference action at 5 p.m. Anderson hosts its Dig for the Cure match at 1 p.m. Transylvania is receiving votes in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) NCAA D-III poll.
