Ravens Secure Home Quarterfinal with Victory at Bluffton

Anderson University women's basketball team (12-12, 9-9) defeated Bluffton University (11-14, 5-13) by a score of 63-57 during Wednesday's Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) matchup in Bluffton, Ohio.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Beavers shot 36.7% (22-of-60) from the field, while the Ravens hit 32.8% (22-of-67).
• Anderson knocked down 22.2% (6-of-27) from beyond the arc while forcing Bluffton to go 0-for-12. This is the first time the Ravens have not allowed a 3-pointer since Feb. 13, 2024, vs. Hanover (0-9)
• The Beavers converted 61.9% (13-of-21) at the free-throw line, while the Ravens made 56.5% (13-of-23).
• Both teams came down with 47 rebounds (20 of which were offensive for Anderson)

• It was a great team win [on Wednesday]!
• Road games have been tough for us all season, but I thought our defense really carried us.
• We didn't shoot it particularly well, but we found enough ways to score down the stretch to pull away.
• It's been an up-and-down season for us all year, but I'm super proud of this group. We didn't always take the easy way, but we achieved our goal this year and get to host.
• I'm excited to get another game in O.C. Lewis Gymnasium this Saturday!
