Beavers Hand Ravens Loss

Bluffton University (12-5, 7-3) handed the Anderson University women's basketball team (12-5, 7-3) an 83-59 loss during Wednesday's Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) matchup in Bluffton, Ohio.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Bluffton rolled to a 50-29 advantage on the boards.
• The Beavers converted 32-of-59 (54.2 percent) shots from the field while the Ravens made 23-of-69 (33.3 percent) attempts from the floor.
• Bluffton went to the free-throw line 23 times and made 13 (56.5 percent) attempts while Anderson went to the charity stripe 10 times and hit six (60 percent) attempts.
• The Ravens knocked down 7-of-23 (30.4 percent) shots from 3-point range while the Beavers drained 6-of-14 (42.9 percent) attempts from the perimeter.
• Bluffton outscored Anderson 44-24 in the paint.
