COACH LINDSAY SHADE'S COMMENTS
- When we play Hanover, it is always a battle of two conflicting styles of play. [On Friday], they completely dictated the tempo and the pace of the game. We played entirely too fast from the tip and never regained control.
- But I don't want Hannah Hawkins and her contributions to our program to be overshadowed by our performance. Hannah is a really good basketball player and she's an even better person. We were 0-25 her freshman year and it would've been really easy for her to walk away. But she's the only person from her recruiting class to make it all four years. Changing a culture is not easy and it's because of her perseverance, sacrifice, and commitment that we have been able to gain some traction. She embodies everything you would want in a teammate and a leader. I am honored to have had the opportunity to coach her.
