Anderson Rolls Past Bluffton

The Anderson University women's basketball team (11-7, 8-4) rolled past Bluffton University (12-6, 7-5) by a score of 78-51 during Thursday's Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) contest in O.C. Lewis Gymnasium.

With the win, the Ravens moved to fourth place in the HCAC standings.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Ravens pulled away in the second quarter, holding the Beavers scoreless for the final 7 minutes, 31 seconds of the second quarter. Anderson capped the half with a 14-0 run.
• The Ravens outscored the Beavers 19-3 off turnovers.
• Anderson powered to a 16-3 advantage in fast-break points.
• The Ravens knocked down 13-of-30 (43.3 percent) shots from 3-point range while the Beavers made 6-of-25 (24 percent) attempts from the perimeter.
• Anderson converted 27-of-63 (42.9 percent) shots from the field while Bluffton hit 19-of-62 (30.6 percent) attempts from the floor.
