Ravens Fall to Panthers on Senior Night

The Anderson University women's basketball team (11-13, 7-10) fell to Hanover College (17-7, 15-2) in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) action by a score of 75-68 on Tuesday in O.C. Lewis Gymnasium.

The Ravens recognized senior Makynlee Taylor prior to the game for Senior Night.

COACH JON GIN'S COMMENTS

This was an incredible last performance inside O.C. Lewis Gymnasium for Makynlee! I'm upset we couldn't pull out the win for her, but Makynlee has been an amazing leader for us this season. She brings a calm and steady presence every day. She has had a great career as a Raven and she has a bright future ahead of her. I'm looking forward to seeing Makynlee take on the world next.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Panthers converted 29-of-65 (44.6 percent) on shots from the field, while the Ravens hit 24-of-62 (38.7 percent) attempts from the floor.
• Anderson hit 5-of-21 (23.8 percent) shots from 3-point range, while Hanover went 0-of-9 on attempts from the perimeter.
• The Ravens committed 22 turnovers to the Panthers' 17. Hanover outscored Anderson 30-15 off turnovers.
