Anderson University women’s lacrosse junior Lauren Brown has been named the Raven Female Athlete of the Week for the week of 3/25-3/31.

The Ravens (3-6) blanked Rochester Christian University (0-5) by a score of 15-0 last Wednesday in Pontiac, Mich., recording the first shutout in franchise history.

Brown filled the stat sheet on both offense and defense, notching one goal, three assists, four points, four draw controls, three caused turnovers and three ground balls. The junior from Fort Wayne tied for third in the school record book for most assists in a game.

Anderson opens the Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference (HCLC) season with Franklin College (1-4, 0-0) on Saturday, April 10 at 6 p.m. in Franklin.
