Bio

Emilie Harrell enters the 2020-21 season in her second year as an assistant coach of the Anderson University women’s basketball team.

Prior to arriving at Anderson, Harrell spent two seasons as a player at Alice Lloyd College. The Eagles qualified for the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Division II National Tournament in both seasons. In Harrell’s two years with Alice Lloyd, the team compiled a 44-16.

Harrell started in 58 games in two years with the Eagles. She converted 95-of-166 (57.2 percent) shots from the field as a senior to top the team in field-goal percentage. Harrell contributed averages of 7.8 points and 4.8 rebounds in her senior year. She competed with St. Catharine College as a freshman and Cumberland University as a sophomore.

Harrell graduated from Alice Lloyd in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sports and Fitness Management. She is currently a master’s degree in Business Management with Anderson University.
